This accessory kit is used with the Rotary Motion Sensor to study the motion of a physical pendulum; the rotational inertia of disks, rings, and point masses; and the conservation angular momentum.

  • Includes:
    • Two 3.5 inch diameter, 0.25 inch thick solid aluminum disks
    • One steel disk with 1.125 inch central hole
    • One plastic hub to hold the steel disk on the 3-step pulley
    • One 15 inch hollow aluminum rod
    • One Ultra Pulley
    • One Ultra Pulley Swivel Mount, which allows the pulley to be mounted on the Rotary Motion Sensor
    • Two Masses with locking screws
