Mouse Monoclonal Secondary Antibody

Monoclonal Antibody Specifically detects in Human Samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.

The G7-26 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes the constant region of human Immunoglobulin E (IgE). It does not crossreact with other immunoglobulin heavy chain isotypes. IgE exists as a transmembrane form on B lymphocytes and as a soluble form produced by activated B cells and plasma cells. IgE can bind to cell surface receptors like high-affinity (FcεRI) on mast cells, basophils, dendritic cells, and monocytes, or low-affinity (FcεRII/CD23) on B cells, T cells, monocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils, follicular dendritic cells, and Langerhans cells. Crosslinking of Fc receptor-bound IgE by multivalent antigens or allergens can induce phagocytosis or release of inflammatory mediators. IgE provides immune protection against pathogenic parasites and plays a role in allergic disorders.
