The Micro 100 Runner Cutter Carbide 16T425 is a carbide end mill designed for high-speed machining of aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous metals. It has a 1/4" shank diameter, 1/2" cutting diameter, and 1-1/2" overall length. The 16T425 features a variable helix flute design to reduce chatter and harmonics. It has TiAlN nano coating for increased tool life and heat resistance. Recommended speed is 18,000 RPM with .004"-.012" chip load per tooth. It is made in the USA from micrograin carbide for strength and wear resistance.
