Description

Rat Monoclonal Secondary Antibody

Monoclonal Antibody Specifically detects in Mouse Samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.

The R40-82 antibody specifically recognizes mouse IgG3 of all strains and does not react with other Ig isotypes. The BD Horizon RealYellowTM 655 (RY655) Dye is a tandem fluorochrome with an excitation maximum (Ex Max) at 557 nm and an emission maximum (Em Max) at 654 nm. It can be used on both spectral and conventional cytometers and is designed to be excited by the Yellow-Green laser (561-nm). For conventional instruments with a Yellow-Green laser (561-nm), RY655 can be used as an alternative to PE-Cy5. BD recommends using an optical filter centered near 660 nm (e.g., a 660/30-nm or 670/30-nm bandpass filter) for conventional instruments. For conventional and spectral instruments with both a Blue (488-nm) and Yellow-Green (561-nm) laser and appropriate detectors, it can be used in conjunction with RB670. The monoclonal antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant or ascites by affinity chromatography and conjugated to the dye under optimum conditions.
