Titanium Westcott Spring Scissors are popular spring handled scissors that automatically reopen after each cut. Westcott brand spring scissors give you an ergonomic and comfortable grip, reducing hand strain and fatigue during repetitive cutting tasks. Westcott spring scissors are perfect for ambidextrous use, often preferred by left-handed individuals. The tips of these surgical scissors are 11.5 cm (4.5”) long with 21 mm curved blades. They have blunt tips. Our Westcott spring scissors are constructed from titanium, which is 40% lighter than stainless steel, reducing hand fatigue. Titanium scissors are non-magnetic, making them perfect for MRI applications. Titanium is corrosion resistant, an excellent choice for environments with nitric acid, chloride, saltwater, and industrial and organic chemicals. When heated or cooled, the dimensions of titanium alloy change less than half of what stainless steel alloys will, making titanium surgical instruments much more durable.
