The Scott spray chamber is made from corrosion-resistant material, which is inert to most mineral acids including hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia and all organic solvents normally used in ICP analyses. The Scott-type design minimizes pulsations from the peristaltic pump. The Type II, two-piece design ensures leak-free performance. The removable inner tube allows the chamber to be easily disassembled for cleaning.
