Secretin is a 27 amino acid GI peptide hormone acting as an agonist for SCTR. It is responsible for regulation of water homeostasis, secretions of the stomach and pancreas, and pH of the duodenum. May also play a role in osmoregulation of the hypothalamus, pituitary, and kidney. Provided as 250 μg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
