The Sep-Pak DNPH-Silica Plus Long Cartridge is designed for analyzing formaldehyde, other aldehydes, and ketones in air. It meets EPA Method TO-11A, JPM HLW, and ISO 16000 requirements, making it an excellent device for sample collection. Air is redirected through the cartridge using a vacuum pump, allowing ketones and aldehydes to react with DNPH, forming hydrazone derivatives. These hydrazones can then be eluted with acetonitrile for sample analysis.
