The Raven Settlometer Kit is used to evaluate and troubleshoot activated sludge settling characteristics. Use with mixed liquor samples to determine the behavior of the activated sludge in the secondary clarifier. Use with aerobic digester samples to evaluate supernatants and separation periods for sludge wasting. Although narrower than other Settleometers, settling is not distorted and is easy to carry or transport. Marked in % and Settled Sludge Volume (SSV). 1 liter, 4 in. diameter, 8 in. tall. Comes with snap on lid and wide mouth paddle.
