The AEGIS Shaft Grounding Ring is a one-piece stainless steel ring that provides a path to ground for induced shaft voltages. It has a split-ring design that allows for easy installation without having to remove the shaft. This grounding ring fits shafts from 1-3/4" to 3-15/16" in diameter. It comes with a mounting bolt and nut. The ring contacts the shaft through hundreds of points to provide maximum conductivity. This helps prevent bearing fluting damage from stray shaft currents. It is rated up to 600V and suitable for motors, generators, turbines and other rotating shafts. The ring meets IEEE standards for shaft grounding.
