Certification services offered for new or used sieves

Certification Service

  • Order when purchasing new sieves
  • Uses a computerized video imaging system to verify that each sieve opening meets ASTM™ and ISO specifications within a tolerance of ±0.1 microns
  • Sieves are then serialized and supplied with documentation, traceable to NIST™, detailing the openings and the wire diameters of the mesh

Recertification Services

  • Offer the same examination and documentation processes for in-use sieves as for new sieves
  • Contact your Fisher Scientific Customer Service Representative for the recommended sieve aperture/recertification schedule
