This thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate comprises an Amino Silica layer. The neutral layer can be developed with purely organic, organic/aqueous and purely aqueous eluents. Thus, the phase finds numerous applications in normal phase chromatography as well as in the reversed phase mode. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-8. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. This analytical layer is bound to an aluminum support. It has a thickness of 150um and dimensions of 4x8cm. There are 50 plates per pack. Applications include: Vitamins, sugars, steroids, purine derivatives, xanthines, phenols, nucleotides, and pesticides.
