Silver diethyldithiocarbamate, ACS
Description
Silver diethyldithiocarbamate cluster plays a useful role for the deposition of acanthite (Ag2S) thin films which is employed in photoelectrochemical applications. Silver diethyldithiocarbamate membrane is used to develop ion selective electrodes for nitrate ion. It is useful in the colorimetric determination of arsenic. It acts as a copper chelator, and is utilized to quantitate copper in biological materials by ESR. It also works as an inhibitor of superoxide dismutase, ascorbate oxidase, and other enzymes.
