Description

The MedSchenker™ Smart Collection System™ is a complete system for the collection, transport and maintenance of viruses. It combines Smart Transport Medium (STM™) with a Nasopharyngeal CavSwab™.

  • Packaged as a complete system, including Smart Transport Medium (STM™), Nasopharyngeal CavSwab™, and CQ-Lock™ screw cap to prevent leaks even in pneumatic tubes
  • Maintains organism viability for 48 hours at room or refrigerated temperature
  • Top-grade antibiotics and amino acids inhibit bacteria and fungal flora growth while retaining viability of the sample
  • Precision scalloped surface of ‘cavums’ provide a greater surface area to absorb and collect larger amounts of specimen
  • Allium™ flock technology: nylon fibers on swab adapt to direction of push or pull
  • Notched shaft increases grip and dexterity while also reducing the amount of stress on the practitioner
  • Electron beam sterilized and individually wrapped in pouches to ensure 100% sterility
