SOC medium is a ready-to-use solution ¿ Useful in the final step of bacterial cell transformation to obtain maximum transformation efficiency of E. coli. ¿ Without magnesium chloride ¿ Used for the transformation of competent cells (E. coli). ¿ Used in the propagation of DH-alpha (of E. coli strains) primarily in the recovery step of Escherichia coli competent cell transformations, and to maximize the transformation efficiency of competent cells. ¿ Recommendation: Immediately before use, add 2M magnesium chloride to a final concentration of 20mM (10ml MgCl2/L). ¿ Storage Conditions: 15¿C to 30¿C ¿ Shipping Condition: ambient temperature ¿ Autoclave Sterilized ¿ Product and/or packaging contains recycled/renewable content ¿ Product and/or packaging is recyclable or reduces waste ¿ Product and/or packaging is safer to human and environmental health ¿ Max Shelf Life: 24 months
