Solution 17 – Blood Lysis Buffer is used for sample preparation prior to enumerating dead and viable leukocytes in blood samples, such as EDTA-treated whole blood, buffy coats, and bone marrow. The Blood Lysis Buffer is designed for preferential lysis of erythrocytes and simultaneous staining of leukocytes in blood samples. The solution contains two different dyes: acridine orange stain all nucleated cells and 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) stains nonviable cells only. Storage: 2 – 7°C.  *All ChemoMetec products are shipped at ambient temperature. Function and quality of products have been validated to ensure shipment at ambient temperature (14 days) does not have any influence on products. At receipt, products should be stored accord to the defined storage conditions available on the package insert.
