The Grainger Approved Solar Fuse is a 15 amp, 250 volt, time-delay fuse designed for solar panel applications. It features a ceramic body construction and measures 1-1/4" long x 1/4" diameter. The fuse has radial leads and includes a 5 amp interrupting rating to provide short circuit protection. This fuse helps protect solar panels, inverters, and other DC equipment in photovoltaic systems. It can handle up to 1500 volts DC. The time-delay feature allows harmless inrush currents while preventing nuisance opening from temporary overloads.
