Description

Solution II - Acid Alcohol (3% HCL) is ideal for staining acid-fast bacteria. Use with Acid-fast stain kit. Modification of the Kinyoun Method.

  • Acid-fast bacilli stain red; all other bacteria stain blue with Sol. III, green with Sol. IIIA.
  • Solution II - Acid Alcohol for Acid Fast Stain Kit (Modification of the Kinyoun Method)
  • Kit includes: Solution I - Carbol Fuchsin, Solution II - Acid Alcohol, Solution III - Loeffler's Methylene Blue and Solution IIIA - Brilliant Green
