    Versatile MicroDialyzers are ideal for a variety of applications including purifying samples prior to HPLC and electrophoresis; desalting macromolecules; changing buffer or pH of sample solution; purifying viruses after a sucrose gradient; binding fatty acids to proteins; concentrating antibodies; and much more. Can be used with toxic or radioactive samples, too.
    Simply prepare and position a precut Spectra/Por dialysis membrane frame (order separately) on top of dialysis chamber. Precut membranes have small surface area for negligible sample loss and dilution effects.
    Place stir bar in stirrer chamber and sample well plate on top of membrane. Easy-to-use clamps snap shut around unit to prevent leakage. Fill buffer chamber through inlet port using a peristaltic pump or pipet. Both inlet and outlet ports have Luer-Lok fittings and accept 3/16 or 1/4 in. O.D. (4.8 or 6.4mm) tubing.
    Fill wells with sample, activate accessory magnetic stirrer, and pump dialysate buffer at a flowrate high enough to maintain the concentration differential between the buffer and sample for maximum efficiency. Well dimensions are compatible with multichannel pipets for quick and precise sample handling. Wells are labeled for easy sample identification.
    All models come with magnetic stir bar. Detachable bottom plate permits easy cleaning.
