Determine the speed of light using electronic time-delay measurement

  • Compact housing holds the oscillator for the LED light pulse, the photoreceptor, and the calibrated quartz-crystal oscillator, which generates accurately timed square-wave pulses
  • Internal and external reflectors transmit a signal superimposed onto the original signal
  • The external main reflector features numerous, small triple-prism reflectors and can be set up by the naked eye
  • The evaluation is carried out with a dual-channel oscilloscope capable of recording at least 70 MHz (sold separately)
  • Speed of light can be calculated based on the determined differential delay
