The Spordex Strip NA142 Biological Indicator (BI) is produced from filter paper inoculated with a single spore species(Geobacillus stearothermophilus, ATCC 7953) and enclosed in a glassine envelope. The strips are produced under controlledconditions to meet suggested performance parameters published in the current U.S. Pharmacopeia. The Spordex Strip NA143BI is identical to the Spordex Strip NA142 BI except for the quantity per box. Spordex NA142 BI has 500 biological indicators per box.
