The Micro 100 Square End Mill Carbide is a high-performance end mill for milling a variety of materials. It features a square end design with four flutes and is made of solid carbide with TiAlN coating for hardness, heat resistance, and lubricity. This 14M742 model has a 3/4" cutting diameter, 1-1/2" LOC, and 1/2" shank diameter. It can achieve surface finishes to 32 microinch Ra and tolerances to +/- 0.0005". Recommended speeds are 500-1000 SFM. It is well-suited for slotting, side milling, and contouring in steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals.
