It is made of solid carbide and has a TiAlN coating for increased tool life and heat resistance. The square end mill features a center cutting design allowing plunge cuts and drilling operations. Recommended speeds are 20,000-50,000 RPM with feed rates from 0.001-0.004 IPR based on material being machined. It can be used for slotting, side milling and facing on materials like aluminum, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and titanium.
