The Micro 100 Square End Mill Center Cutting 14M452 is a square end milling cutter with a center cutting edge. It has a 1/2" shank diameter and an overall length of 3". The cutter diameter is 1/2" and it has 2 flutes. The cutter is made of solid carbide and has a TiAIN coating for wear resistance. It can machine a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastic and graphite. It is designed for high speed milling applications. The center cutting edge allows plunge cuts into the workpiece. The square shape allows milling of shoulders, slots and corners.
