StrepMAB-Immo fluorescenct conjugates are murine, high-affinity monoclonal antibodies, which are especially suited for detection of Strep-tagII and Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins in applications like FACS, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry. The nearly irreversible binding is validated for fusion proteins carrying a C- or N-terminal Strep-tagII providing an N-terminal extension by a SerAla linker. However, the Twin-Strep-tag always contains the SerAla linker (WSHPQFEK-GGGS-GGGS-GGSA-WSHPQFEK). StrepMAB-Immo is available as conjugate with different fluorescent dyes (DY-488, DY-549, DY-649). The absorption/emission maxima of the fluorescent dyes are: • DY-488: 493/518 nm • DY-549: 550-560/575 nm • DY-649: 655/676 nmPlease note: For detection of Strep-tagII or Twin-Strep-tag fusion proteins in western blots, StrepMAB-Classic or Strep-Tactin are recommended.
