Sulfo-NHS-Biotin Kit (30-90 kDa) is a biotinylation reagent set designed to introduce biotin molecules onto primary amines in proteins such as immunoglobulin G (IgG) The biotin molecules in this kit are activated ester derivatives (Sulfo-NHS-biotin) functioning through covalent conjugation reactions where the NHS ester group selectively reacts with primary amino groups (e g lysine residues and protein N-termini) on proteins After conjugation labeled proteins can be applied in biotin-streptavidin platforms for detection immunoassays protein immobilization and affinity purification This kit is optimized for proteins within the molecular weight range of 30-90 kDa accommodating 50-200 g protein per reaction and allows removal of excess biotin or interfering low-molecular-weight components using filtration-based purification for improved labeling quality and purity
