Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife that is ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. It features a safety blade that lasts up to 11 times longer than steel blades.

The Slice™ Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife with a design ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to unlock the blade guard. Then, press the tool flush onto the cutting surface and pull to make the cut. Once the 10477 is no longer held against the cutting surface, its blade guard redeploys, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip.

As with all Slice™ tools, the Super-Safe™ Carton Opener features a finger-friendly™ blade that is safe to the touch, cuts effectively, and lasts up to 11 times longer than comparable steel blades. The installed rounded-tip blade (10526) can also be replaced with an optional pointed-tip blade (10528) for materials that require puncturing to initiate the cut.
