The Serum Acrodisc syringe filter is a sterile, 37 mm filter that incorporates a glass fiber prefilter media over a 0.2 m Supor membrane. The combination of the prefilter and the larger filtration area allows the Serum Acrodisc syringe filter to filter significantly higher volumes of difficult-to-filter solutions such as serum, serum-containing media, and many other solutions that commonly clog conventional syringe filters. Solutions that typically require the use of multiple syringe filters can easily be filtered through the Serum Acrodisc syringe filter. For research use only.
