Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ Polypropylene Snap Top vials with Fixed-Insert for <2 mL Samples (Level 1) offer an affordable choice for everyday chromatography across LC instruments. Designed for labs that need reliability and value, these vials help provide consistent results for QA/QC workflows and routine analytical applications. These vials are suitable for PFAS analysis.

Made from polypropylene, these vials meet US, EU, and JPN Pharmacopeia requirements and are Specification Certified to ensure autosampler compatible dimensions.

These fixed polypropylene insert vials are available in three different formats:

• 300 μL (usable volume of 200 μL) with a residual volume ~4μL
• 600 μL (usable volume of 400 μL) with a residual volume ~ 4 μL
• 800 μL (usable volume of 600 μL) with a residual volume ~ 6 μL
• 1 mL (usable volume of 0.8 mL) with a residual volume ~ 8 μL

What are SureSTART fixed insert vials?

During manufacture, the outer vial has a glass micro-insert precisely positioned inside and this is permanently fused to the base of the outer vial. This gives a 12 mm x 32 mm microvial with a capacity of 350 µL with a narrow reservoir with <10 µL capacity. A fixed insert vial removes the need to assemble a vial and insert prior to use.

What are SureSTART microvials?

Microvials are suitable for use when sample volume is limited or when you need to get maximum recovery from the vial. These vials allow small volumes to be sampled accurately by autosamplers with a recoverable volume of much less than 100 µL. High recovery, total recovery, and vials with fixed inserts are all classed as microvials.
