The Instech METAMOUNT/SL is a specialized swivel mount designed for Tecniplast (Nalgene) metabolic cages. It firmly fixes a fluid swivel above the cage to facilitate continuous infusion or blood sampling while the animal is in a metabolic environment. The "SL" designation indicates it includes a slotted lid, which allows for much easier removal of the tethered animal without disconnecting the fluid lines.
