  • One quadrant of the plate contains growth control factor
  • One quadrant contains Vancomycin 6ug/mL
  • One quadrant contains Gentamicin 500ug/mL
  • One quadrant contains Streptomycin 2000μg/mL

Quadrant I: Control quadrant. Growth demonstrates viability of the test isolate. If no growth, the test is invalid.

Quadrant II, III, IIII: Growth indicates synergy cannot be predicted in combination therapy. No growth indicates synergy can be predicted.
