Syringe filters with PTFE membrane are ideal for the filtration of organic solvents and harsh solvents in HPLC (0.45 m) and UHPLC (0.2 m) sample preparation. Sample filtration helps protect sensitive parts of analytical instrumentation from particulate build-up, extending chromatography column life and reducing system downtime. PTFE is a hydrophobic membrane and is not suitable for the filtration of aqueous solutions, however these syringe filters are ideal to use in venting applications.Large effective filtration area (3.9 cm2) for increased sample throughput, ideal for sample volumes of 150 mL, Available with a built-in GxF prefilter for use with difficult-to-filter solutions.The syringe filters are designed to be fully compatible with automated robotic handling systems and are HPLC certified for low levels of UV-absorbing extractables, ensuring accurate results. This product is not approved for use in medical, clinical, surgical or other patient applications.
