T.A.T. Broth Base, prepared with added polysorbate 20, is designed for the sterility testing of highly viscous or gelatinous products such as salves, ointments and other cosmetics. Casein enzymic hydrolysate provides rich nutrition while azolectin and polysorbate 20 neutralize preservatives and antimicrobial residues that would otherwise mask contamination, final pH 7.2. The result is sensitive recovery of any surviving organisms from challenging sample matrices. Dehydrated powder, store in a cool dry place. Packaged as 5 kg.
