The Total Acid Number (TAN) Standard 0.1 mg KOH/gm is a 500mL standard solution used for calibration and performance verification of TAN testing. It contains 2.5 milligrams of potassium hydroxide per gram of sample dissolved in xylene. This standard allows for accurate TAN measurement and monitoring of oil degradation. The TAN Standard has a 12 month shelf life and is manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility. It comes with a Certificate of Analysis for traceability. This product enables proper calibration for TAN testing.
