Terbinafine hydrochloride (TDT 067 hydrochloride) is an orally active and potent antifungal agent. It acts as a non-competitive inhibitor of squalene epoxidase from Candida, with a Ki of 30 nM. Furthermore, it is a click chemistry reagent, containing an Alkyne group that can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules possessing Azide groups.
