Description

Biotinylate primary amines in proteins as well as secondary amines in DNA or RNA with this very short (9.6A) pentafluorophenyl-ester biotinylation reagent.

Thermo Scientific™ EZ-Link PFP-biotin is a pentafluorophenyl-ester biotinylation reagents that has similar properties to NHS-biotin but is more reactive and will target both primary and secondary amines for biotinylation.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with primary and secondary amines at pH 7-9
  • Pentafluorophenyl esters are more reactive than NHS-esters
  • Easier to handle and store than NHS-esters
  • Creates a stable amide bond
