Description

True one-handed operation—ideal for field measurements. Feature splash-resistant sealed housing with tactile/audible keypad, improved cable routing, and wet storage sleeve for electrode to prevent dry out. A pop-out stand on the back lets you use them on a benchtop. All feature large LCD with simultaneous display of pH or ISE measurement and temperature. User prompts, stability indicator, diagnostics and 80 to 120% slope control make meters reliable and easy to use. Selectable features include autohold, to lock in stable readings; beep, to confirm stable data points; auto shutoff, to conserve batteries without data loss; and manual or auto calibration and temperature compensation. All models have ORP Mode that allows standardization to the Standard or Normal Hydrogen Electrode used to define Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP).

Meter/Electrode packaging for Models 290Aplus, 250Aplus and 230Aplus includes the Orion Triode™ Combination pH Electrode/ATC Probe (13-642-545) to eliminate need for separate ATC probe. All come with 9V battery (AC adapter is optional and sold separately) and instruction manual. Models 250Aplus and 230Aplus are also available in Meter/Starter Kit packaging, including 13-642-545 Triode Combination Electrode/ATC Probe, battery, and instruction manual; electrode holder and stand; two 2 oz. Orion 290 Aplus™ pH/ISE Meter offers one- to five-point pH autocalibration with built-in recognition for five buffers; manual ISE calibration up to five points with autoblank correction; selectable resolution of 0.1/0.01/0.001pH; autocalculation/display of electrode slope; adjustable isopotential point in pH; and time/date of last calibration displayed. Has 24-hour clock, interval timer and high/low alarm limits; and internal 25-point datalogging. Three print options: when signal is stable, at timed interval, or on demand. Two-way RS-232-C port transfers data to either printer (13-641-257, sold separately) or computer.
