IFN-g Antagonist , H-Ala-Tyr-Cys(Acm)-Arg-Asp-Gly-Lys-Ile-Gly-Pro-Pro-Lys-Leu-Asp-Ile-Arg-Lys-Glu-Glu-Lys-Gln-Ile-OH, 158040-83-6, C115H194N34O34S, Mr 2629.08, 0.5mg. (Tyr121,Cys(Acm)122)-IFN-g Receptor (120-141) (human). This peptide derived from the ligand binding site of the human g-interferon (IFN-g) receptor is an antagonist of human IFN-g. It inhibited human IFN-g-induced expression of HLR/DR antigen on Colo 205 cells with an approximate IC50 of 35 uM. Immobilized peptide specifically bound recombinant human IFN-g. Tyrosine substitution at residue 121 allowed facile quantification and conjugation of the peptide.
