The Micro 100 16R683 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute carbide thread mill with a TiAlN coating. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree internal threads in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other materials. The thread mill has a 1/2" shank and is capable of cutting unified thread sizes from 4-56 to 1/4-20 as well as metric thread sizes from M1 to M6. With the proper speeds, feeds, and depths, this durable thread mill provides an efficient method for threading holes.
