The Micro 100 16R745 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, carbide thread mill with a TiAlN coating. It has a right hand cut and can produce unified threads from 4-56 to 1/2-13. The overall length is 3" and it has a 1/2" Weldon shank. This thread mill is made in the USA out of micrograin carbide and has AlTiN coating for wear resistance and lubricity. It can machine a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper and more. The 4 flute design provides efficient chip evacuation.
