The Micro 100 16R751 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute carbide thread mill with a right hand spiral flute. It has a TiAlN coating and can cut a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper alloys, and plastics. The thread mill has a 1/2" shank and can cut unified threads from 4-56 to 1/4-20 as well as metric threads from M3 to M6. With its sharp cutting edges, it provides accurate threading in blind holes, through holes, or on a lathe. The thread mill should be run at the recommended speeds, feeds, and depths to optimize tool life and performance.
