The Micro 100 16R655 thread mill is a solid carbide end mill designed for thread milling applications. It has a right hand thread direction, 60 degree thread angle, 16 threads per inch, 5/8" shank diameter, and an overall length of 3". The thread mill features Micro 100's AM100 grade fine grain carbide and TiAIN coating for wear resistance and heat dissipation. It can machine a wide range of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, titanium and high temp alloys. The 16R655 is made in the USA and well-suited for production thread milling in aerospace, medical, mold and die, and automotive applications.
