The Micro 100 16R653 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute carbide thread mill with a right hand spiral flute. It has a TiAlN coating and can cut 60-62 HRC materials. The thread mill has a 1/4"-28 UNF shank and can cut thread sizes from #4-40 to 1/4"-28 UNF. It has AlTiN nano coating for heat and wear resistance. The thread mill is made in the USA and has coolant-thru capability. It is designed for high performance threading in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium and high temp alloys.
