The Micro 100 16R741 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute carbide thread mill. It has a right hand spiral flute design and can cut 60 degree internal threads in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other materials. The thread mill has AlTiN nano coating for increased tool life and lubricity. It is capable of cutting unified thread sizes from 4-56 to 1/4-20 as well as metric thread sizes from M1x0.25 to M6x1. Recommended speeds are 70 to 120 SFM. Overall, this Micro 100 thread mill provides an efficient method of cutting internal threads in metals.
