The Micro 100 16R726 is a 1/4" diameter, 4 flute, carbide thread mill with a TiAlN coating. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree threads. The overall length is 2-1/2" and it has a 1/2" shank. This thread mill is designed for high speed machining in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. It can be run at speeds up to 2000 SFM. The TiAlN coating provides heat and wear resistance. This is a high performance thread mill for efficient threading operations.
