The Micro 100 16R730 is a carbide thread mill with a 1/2" shank diameter, 1-1/2" overall length, and 1/4"-28 internal thread size. It has a TiAlN coating for increased tool life and can machine a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and more. With its variable helix flutes, it provides efficient chip evacuation while threading, allowing for optimal performance. The thread mill produces excellent thread quality and accuracy in blind holes, through holes, or on a solid workpiece. It is well-suited for production threading applications.
