The Micro 100 16R658 is a 1/4" diameter, 3/4" long, 4 flute carbide thread mill. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree internal threads in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other metals. The thread mill has TiAlN coating for wear resistance and can machine threads at high speeds up to 2000 SFM. It has a 1/2" shank and is made in the USA by Micro 100, a manufacturer of high performance cutting tools. The 16R658 thread mill is well-suited for production threading applications requiring strong, precision internal threads in metals.
