The Micro 100 16R764 is a 1/4" diameter carbide thread mill with a 1/2" shank. It has a right hand spiral flute and can cut 60 degree internal threads from 10-56 to 1/4-20. The overall length is 2-1/2" and it has TiAlN coating for increased tool life and lubricity. This thread mill is made in the USA out of micrograin carbide and has AlTiN coating. It can machine a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper and more. The 16R764 thread mill is a high performance tool well-suited for production threading applications.
