The Micro 100 Threading Tool is a 1/2" shank threading tool with a 60 degree included angle and a 0.040" nose radius. It has a TiN coating for increased tool life and can cut a variety of thread sizes and pitches. The tool has an overall length of 5" and a flute length of 1-1/2". It is made from micro-grain carbide for strength and durability. The threading tool can be used on most common materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and more. It is well-suited for production threading applications.
