The Micro 100 1/4" Shank Threading Tool is a high speed steel threading tool with a 1/4" shank diameter. It has a 60 degree threading point and can cut unified coarse, unified fine, and metric threads. The overall length is 3-1/2" and it has a 5/16" minor diameter. This threading tool is made in the USA out of M2 high speed steel for good wear resistance. It can be used on lathes, screw machines, and CNC lathes for both internal and external threading operations. The tool comes with a TiN coating for increased lubricity and wear resistance.
